Lead Pastor-Jeremy Carr
Jeremy is Lead Pastor at Oxford Bible Fellowship. Before coming on staff in September 2007, he ministered at a church in Indiana for 5 years as the college and adult education pastor. At OBF he focuses on weekly teaching, setting vision for the church, and leading the overall ministry.
When he was four-years-old, Jeremy’s dad led him to the Lord. When he was 12, he knew he wanted to be in full-time Christian ministry. He hopes to preach and live the supremacy of Christ in all things and exhibit the centrality of teaching the Scriptures.
Jeremy has a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies from Faith Baptist Bible College. He also has earned two masters’ degrees from Liberty Theological Seminary. Jeremy has done additional studies at Moody Bible Institute and Faith Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing a degree at Trinity Evangelical Divinty School. He enjoys furthering his education and reading, especially the writings of Jerry Bridges and John Piper.
Jeremy was married to Michelle in 2001. They have a three year old daughter, Lexys, and a 1 year old daughter, Sydney with another baby on the way in October. Jeremy likes playing and watching sports, cheers for the Bulls and White Sox, and enjoys hanging out with his family.
